This might be called a primer in the Greek of the New Testament. Beginning with the basic matters of alphabet, pronunciation, and accent, Dr. Summers has prepared a well organized and clearly stated textbook for use in seminary and college classes. It is divided into thirty-three lessons, which in turn are subdivided under the headings: Lexical Study, Grammatical Study, and Practical Application. Under the last appear exercises in translation of both Greek into English and English into Greek. For help in these exercises, an adequate vocabulary and a complete set of paradigms appear at the back of the book.
