This is one of the issues addressed in this Festschrift in honor of Angel Manuel Rodriguez, one of the top scholars of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, who has reached the biblical age of "threescore and ten" (Ps 90:10). Dr. Rodriguez has spent his life witnessing for his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as a pastor, teacher, writer, and administrator. Other topics addressed in this Festschrift are the sanctuary, salvation, and eschatology-all subjects dear to Dr. Rodriguez’s heart. His dissertation on the concept of substitution in the Hebrew sanctuary earned him a Doctor of Theology (Th.D.) at Andrews University. Following many years teaching and training future ministers, he spent the twenty years prior to his retirement serving at the Biblical Research Institute of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists where he was the director for the last ten years. His life is a testimony to the statement, "There is no limit to the usefulness of one who, by putting self aside, makes room for the working of the Holy Spirit upon his heart, and lives a life wholly consecrated to God” (Desire of Ages, 250). Millions of Adventist around the world have been blessed by Dr. Rodriguez’s books, his columns in the Adventist Review and Adventist World, and his teaching and preaching..Наявність бібліографії/покажчика: Indexes: p. 297-312.
